WORLD INDEXES

European Indexes:
DAX, FTSE & More

European equity markets offer a rich environment for Gann analysis, with cycle structures that often diverge from — and thereby complement — US market timing.

The German DAX

The DAX was established in 1988 at a base value of 1,000 points, giving it a particularly clean reference point for Gann analysis. The index’s all-time lows and subsequent highs all exhibit strong geometric relationships.

The FTSE 100: Britain's Benchmark

The FTSE 100 was launched in 1984 at a base of 1,000 points. Its extended failure to sustainably exceed its 1999 high of 6,950 for over 15 years is itself a Gann phenomenon.

Inter-Market Analysis: Europe vs. the US

When European indexes are at Gann time and price extremes while US markets are not — this divergence often signals an approaching convergence: a period when both markets will move together in a significant directional change.

European markets are not American markets with a different currency. They have their own vibrational characteristics, their own cycle histories, and their own geometric structures.
